You Never Fail Until You Stop Trying! | Divinity School TV

Failure is an event, not a person. We must therefore not waste our lives in the graveyard of guilt dealing with corpses of the past.Sometimes before we even fail because of anxious thoughts we feel like failures. We think what if it doesn’t work?...

Failure is an event, not a person. We must therefore not waste our lives in the graveyard of guilt dealing with corpses of the past.

Sometimes before we even fail because of anxious thoughts we feel like failures. We think what if it doesn’t work? what if God doesn’t answer? We must not let fear overtake us. We must trust in the Lord. Go to the Lord in prayer. If a door is for you to enter, then it will remain open. If God closes a door, don’t worry because He has an even better one open for you. Spend time with Him in prayer and allow Him to guide.

God's mercy is more than enough. You are a child of God. You are His treasure and the apple of His eye. You are not a sinner, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You are not an accident, a coincidence, or a mistake. You are an awesome, amazing creation of an Almighty God.

When you are absolutely convinced that God is going to do what He promised, then giving up is no longer an option. Don't be afraid of change. You might lose something good on the road to something great. If you quit, you will never see the miracle that is in the making for you, hold on! Every good decision gets you one step closer to where you need to be. Keep moving forward, let go of what did not work out yesterday, and trust that God is leading you into a bright future. A life well-lived is lived one step at a time.

There is peace in knowing the truth about yourself. If you tune out the worldly voices that lie to you, you can wholly focus on the one voice who speaks life over you. "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." (Isaiah 26:3) declares the Lord! What is in you is greater than anything outside of you.

God will help you when you fail. But remember if you fail, He has a good reason in allowing it to happen. You might not understand it at that present moment, but God will prove to be faithful in the end.

Declare strength to you. When the enemy messes with your joy, He wants your strength. Remind him, you are strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Declare it in the name of Jesus Christ.
